Educate. Empower. Serve.

-Money Mentor

My name is Natalya A. Henderson, and I'm not only a financial service professional and a Michigan Notary Public, but I'm a passionate community leader and activist. My story begins in my hometown of Detroit, MI. I was raised by two parents, who were hard working entrepreneurs. One worked in the Foodservice Industry, and the other worked in the Transportation and Logistics Industry. By the age of 8, I had a full-time job taking orders, cash-handling, and preparing food in my mother's restaurant. When it came to cash-handling, errors were slim to none.

As I grew into my teens, I discovered my passion for advocacy and political activism, and thus I entered the world of public service. After graduating high school, I took my experience of managing the front and back-end of a small family-owned restaurant to managing the finances of a family-owned property management company with over $1M in assets and two subsidiaries; which included the day-to-day bookkeeping, the accounts payable and receivable, and payroll.

After receiving my Associate of Arts, and while completing Bachelors of Business Administration with a concentration in Finance at Western Michigan University, I ran for public office where I learned about the world of campaign finances. After that, I served as the Treasurer of the Michigan Democratic Party Youth Caucus.

My combined experiences and love for the public service and the entrepreneurship space have allowed me to study trends carefully and assess the needs of my community. In doing so, I've learned that individuals and businesses lack financial management skills, limiting their financial freedom. My goal is not only to provide services but also to educate and mentor individuals and small businesses owners to build wealth fiscally.
